Coastal Women's Shelter Run for Shelter 2023

Updated: Jul 21, 2023

THANK YOU FOR A SUCCESSFUL EVENT!

Our Run for Shelter held on Saturday, June 17th at Creekside Park, was attended by more than 130 runners. We cannot thank each of you enough for the support you have shown our agency and clients. We want to again thank our many sponsors for their financial and merchandise contributions to assist in the success of our event: CarolinaEast Medical Center, B/S/H, The Chelsea Restuarant, Lowe's of New Bern, Nautical Wheelers, Truist, Moen, Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage, Make-it-Personally-Yours, Starbucks of New Bern, Tryon Civitan Club, and Coastal Soles. It is because of your commitment to bettering our community that CWS is able to continue the work we do in helping victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Craven, Jones, and Pamlico counties. We hope to see you all again next year!

We're hosting our annual Run For Shelter 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile Fun Run on Saturday, June 17th, 2023 at Creekside Park in New Bern! This event supports victims and survivors of domestic violence, and helps raise awareness in our community.

You can enjoy a t-shirt included with your sign-up and refreshments at the end of the course! You don't need to be a runner to participate in this event, come join us for the 1 mile fun run (or walk!)

We're also including a virtual option for those unable to attend in person!

If you'd like to join us, sign up at the ticket link or at https://runsignup.com/.../NC/NewBern/20thAnnualRunForShelter

We're still looking for sponsors for this event! If you are interested in volunteering or sponsoring this event, please contact us at: cwsfundd@coastalwomensshelter.net (252) 638-4509 ext. 3.
