Volunteers Are The Backbone Of CWS

Our volunteers’ range in age from 12 to 84 and work as much—or as little—as they can. By becoming a volunteer, you help us keep the doors open in a variety of ways, such as:

  • Working in our administrative office—answering phones, doing light administrative work, filing, and answering the door.

  • Working at the Helping Hands Boutique—merchandising, selling, and pricing.

  • Working at our fundraisers—selling tickets, helping at the events, helping with advertising.

  • Working at our support groups by providing childcare.

  • Working at the Safe House— providing transportation for clients for appointments, sorting donations, assisting with the crisis line, and helping with childcare.

  • Muscle & a truck needed on an occasional basis to pick up & distribute donations.

If you are interested, please fill out the online volunteer interest form below, or download the PDF file, complete the volunteer interest form and return it to the office. We will contact you to schedule a volunteer orientation at the main office.
